Choose the right website content

As with any commercial venture, the nature of the game is to make money. Websites are no different and there are many ways to generate income from your online presence. Unless you are a well known and well established retail merchant, you will need to find a way to have users come to your website and (hopefully) purchase something through your advertisements. Whether you have your own product, utilize affiliate marketing or furnish pay per click advertisements, you need some bait to draw your potential customers to your site.

The adage “Content is King” is very true on the world wide web. Without articles and information to present to people searching the web for things that interest them, they would simply move on to the next site. There are several ways in which you can fill your website with information to hold your user’s attention.

The first option many newcomers take is to write their own content or hire someone to ghostwrite the information for them. This will work well if you are articulate and can present your information in an easily understood form. If you are hiring someone to write the information for you, the cost of putting together a decent sized website can stretch a new webmaster’s budget.

Another way to fill your pages with information is by using article directories. These websites are designed as repositories of articles on a multitude of subjects that you can pick and choose as you will to put on your own website. The advantages to using article directories is that you can quickly add content to your site that will be of interest to your viewers. The downside to using article directories is that for one, you cannot change the articles at all. These articles are provided as a service and either the author or the directory site retains the copyright.

Directory articles are provided free, but have hyperlinks to the author’s own websites imbedded in the byline information at the bottom of the article. This provides the person who furnished the article an extra back link to their site which aids them in increasing their rating with the search engines.

A third option lies somewhere in between these two choices. A growing number of web companies offer article packs grouped into specific niche interests. These collections of articles are sold with “Private Label Rights”. This means you can do whatever you want with them. You may put them on your site and attach your own byline. You can resell them to others and most importantly, you are permitted to edit and modify them to include your own unique details and information. This is the preferred method of utilizing these private label articles.

Most of the major search engines will discover and assign a lower ranking to webpages that have duplicate copy on them. In order to work your website toward the first pages of a search engine result you will need among other things, to keep your content as unique as possible. A packet of private label articles will generally cost less than if you had to hire someone to produce your content for you. The simple task of modifying the articles for your website can give you the satisfaction of being a part of your site’s development. With just a little effort you can take the basic articles you bought this way and turn them truly into your own creation.

7 Steps to Unleash Dynamic Energy

Do these Things to Release Dynamic Energy:

1. Set some goal for yourself that you are trying to achieve.

Make that goal big enough so that it will excite your imagination and arouse tremendous interest. Your energies will rise in proportion to the needs you have. If you have a goal to make only fifty dollars a week, it is not a very inspiring goal. If you push that goal and set a figure such as two hundred and fifty dollars a week, instantly your subconscious mind will release the dynamic energy and the dynamic ideas to make it possible to achieve the larger sum.

2. Have some person or persons in your life that you are trying to help. This can be your own mate, your children, your mother and father; whatever it is that you are trying to do for others unselfishly will automatically give you greater energy and more stamina to endure and persist. If you live just for yourself, it is unlikely that you will have more than just enough life-force to exist. Florence Nightingale was the first woman in history to go out into battle to help nurse soldiers. She freed womankind from the restrictions of their sex, and created a new and honorable profession for women. This frail woman was so inspired by her desire to help the sick, that it gave her tremendous energy and vitality.

3. Find work that you really enjoy doing. And if you happen to be in work you despise get out of it as soon as possible. Nothing will so quickly lower the curve of energy as being in work you detest. It has even been known to make some people chronically sick because they are constantly frustrated. This restricts the glandular action of the body and depresses the body organs. But if you are in work you love, your body cells sing with joy and health and energy, they are stimulated, so that you constantly feel good.

4. Have hobbies that give you pleasure as well as relaxation. Dynamic energy is created when your mind is interested in doing something. It is vitally important that you have avocations as well as a vocation. The moments you give to painting, writing poetry or stories, modeling in clay, stamp collecting, rug weaving or whatever hobby you indulge, are moments well spent, for they will serve to release energy which will make your regular work easier and less boring.

5. If you are not already in love with someone, fall in love as quickly as you can.Nothing helps release dynamic energy so quickly and potently as being in love. Science is now aware of the importance of this powerful emotion in our lives. Children thrive and are healthy when loved. When denied love they are sickly and lacking in energy and interest.

6. Set daily goals for yourself that you are trying to achieve.

If you are a salesman, set a certain number of sales. If an author, set a certain number of pages you wish to write. If a student, a certain course of study which you do regularly. It has been found that the mind responds to the challenge of direct suggestion. If you know you are going to play eighteen holes of golf, the body and brain see to it that the necessary energy and drive are created to carry you through that course. If a prize fighter builds himself up mentally to take on a certain opponent, his body will release the energy to carry him into that ring facing formidable opposition. As you achieve these small goals at first, keep raising the level of your goal, until you have reached a high peak of energy and achievement.

7. Each day, when you start your activities, say a series of suggestions that will be energy-boosters to your subconscious mind.

Here are a few you might memorize and repeat every day when you feel the need of inspiration or greater mental or physical energy.

  • I am strong and healthy.
  • I can accomplish anything I desire.
  • I am young and vital, and my body now responds with new energy and vitality to do all my tasks today.
  • I am happy, happy, happy.
  • I find joy in my work and my life sparkles with interest and happiness.
  • I have faith in myself, my work and my destiny.
  • I now extend this faith to the entire world.
  • I am successful, well-liked, and attract friends to myself.
  • I now radiate confidence, poise and inner power.
  • I love everyone I meet, and they will in turn love me.
  • I am rich as any millionaire; with gifts of mental and physical health, free estates of parks, and the golden gifts of friendship, love, peace, happiness and beauty.

Whenever you feel tired or discouraged, or your energy is low, just stop whatever you are doing, breathe deeply for ten or fifteen times, say all of the above energy-boosters, and really mean them, then you will see how quickly your mind recovers its sharpness, and your body becomes filled with new energy and vitality.

Where Are You Going and How Are You Getting There?

Are you excited for 2007?  Is your life headed in the right direction?

Do you want to feel inspired, confident, energized, and ready to move forward with the life you want?

Feeling fulfilled and empowered is about making your desires happen.  It’s about acquiring and maintaining the fortitude, determination, and support to take yourself from the wishing stage to the doing stage.

Identifying Goals
For most of us, identifying goals doesn’t seem to be very hard.  We all have things that we wish were different and we can almost always list those things.  For example, do any of these sound familiar?

“I’d like to lose weight and keep it off.”
“I want a new job.”
“I want to be able to do things that are out of my comfort zone.”
“I really need to become more organized and focused.”
“I’d like to mend some strained relationships.”
“I want to reduce my stress.”

These goals can feel overwhelming and out of reach.  The first step towards making them achievable is to delve deeply into your objective and come up with more specific and manageable goals.

If you wanted to “mend strained relationships”, you could explore the following issues to specify the goal even further:

How have these strained relationships affected you?
What if these relationships don’t improve?
What’s your history been in situations like this?
What has been your role in the conflict?
What is reasonable to expect of yourself?  Of the other person?
Are you ready to change this pattern with this person?
What outcome can you be comfortable with?

After considering these issues, you might come up with the following goals:

“I will work on being kinder in my interactions with this person.”
“I will learn to accept that the relationship may never be as I’d like.”
“I will internalize the fact that I can only change my behaviors and will act accordingly.”
“I will improve my ability to sincerely apologize and accept another’s apology.”
“I will better learn the art of self care.”

Do you see how empowering and doable the second set of goals becomes?  And these direct goals open up many avenues of self exploration and improvement, both of which are necessary for a more fulfilled life.

Make Them Happen
The next move is to take the right steps to make your goals happen.  Do you have a history of getting stuck at this point?  Not knowing how to overcome your obstacles and utilize your strengths?  Falling short of your aspirations because you get frustrated, overwhelmed, or discouraged?  Well don’t worry because when you’ve examined and narrowed your ambitions, this process can come almost naturally.

At this stage you need a support, accountability, and idea partner.  You may also need someone to point out your blind spots, challenge you to see the situation from different perspectives, and help you recognize your successes.  The likelihood of your success increases by a tremendous amount when you’ve got someone on your side.

If you’re working on your goal of “being kinder in my interactions with this person,” then you might identify some of the following steps:

-make a concerted effort to be polite during our conversations
-be conscientious of my tone of voice
-be a good listener (i.e. not interrupting, ask questions, show genuine interest)

At the end of a conversation it’s easy to assess whether you’ve implemented these steps and what changes you may need to make next time to move closer to your goal.

You don’t have to just wish for things to be different in your life.  You have the ability and the responsibility to do for yourself what needs to be done.  You can make dramatic and lasting changes that will forever improve your life!

Life North of the Fifty-fourth

People choose to live in many different places around the world. In 1995 when I retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, I chose to live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Later that year I went to work as a Game Control Officer at Casino Regina. In 2001, after suffering a serious back injury at the Casino, I decided to move to a small northern town called Creighton, Saskatchewan. If you look at a map of Canada, it is on the Saskatchewan side of the border from Flin Flon, Manitoba. I thought that you might be interested in knowing what living north of the 54th parallel is like.

Canada is often referred to as the frozen white north. At this time of year, when you are more than 54 parallels north of the equator, it usually is. In the summer, however, 20 hours of daylight and temperatures ranging from 80 degrees to 95 degrees Fahrenheit are common.

Looking out my front window, I see a flock of Pine Grosbeaks jostling for space at the bird feeders with a flock of Evening Grosbeaks. Scarlet and grey vie for space with gold and black. Redpolls flit about the tube thistle seed feeders. Several rock doves (pigeons) sit on the power line nearby waiting for their turn. Dark-eyed Juncos pick up the seeds that have been knocked to the snow under the feeders.

A Downy woodpecker feasts on the woodpecker suet block hanging from one of the leafless Manitoba Maples that surround the front yard. An occasional sharp-tailed grouse wanders into the feeders from the nearby forest. The tracks of a fox cross the yard and front deck. This inquisitive visitor came during the night to look for tidbits that would help it ward off the -10 to -20 degree Fahrenheit cold.

A watery sun, low on the southern horizon, causes the new fallen snow on the lawn to glisten and sparkle like a field of diamonds. Thirty inches of snow blankets the lawn and protects the grass from the bitter cold to come. The nostrils tingle as you breathe in a lung full of crisp clean air. The “quork, quork” of a nearby Raven breaks the wintery silence.

About a mile away, the strobe lights on the 900-foot smoke stack at the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting site in the city of Flin Flon, Manitoba, warn bush planes flying to and from the mines, fishing camps and hunting lodges that dot the northern boreal forest.

Shifting my eyes further south, I see a white sign with a large red maple leaf on it announcing the presence of a Petro-Canada service station to the weary traveler. Situated astraddle the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border, the City of Flin Flon and its nearby baby sister, Creighton, Saskatchewan, were born in 1928/29 with the discovery of a large body of ore containing copper, zinc and gold. The two are a 10-hour drive north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, or an eight hour drive north of Regina, Saskatchewan.

A myriad of lakes welcome fishermen from around the world to their plentiful supply of trout, bass, pike and pickerel, to name a few of the many species available. Forty to 60 pound trout are common. A recent fishing tournament winner caught a 47-pound trout and the runner up caught one that was 46 ½ pounds. The winner was a local lady, and the runner up was a visitor from the United States who had lots of pictures and a great story to take home. The tournament was a catch, photograph, weigh and release tournament. Winter brings the ice fishing season. (Huts with either no floor or a large hole in the floor are placed over a hole augured through the ice. The huts are usually heated by a wood heater to make fishing in minus 30 to minus 50 degree winter days a little more bearable.)

This may not be the best place in the world to live, but it is my little slice of Heaven.

Sneaky Doesn’t Work Anymore

Sneaky doesn’t work anymore, not in 2007.

We all know what sneaky is:

  • Sneaky is the really small print, written in indecipherable legalese, at the bottom of the document you are supposed to sign.
  • Sneaky is the company that, after repeated attempts, won’t unsubscribe you from their mailing list.
  • Sneaky is the store that advertises one product at a low price. Then, when you get to the store, they don’t have that particular model but want to “upgrade” you (read: bait and switch) to a more expensive model.
  • Sneaky is the politician or celebrity caught red-handed who doesn’t just apologize, but tries to deny wrongdoing or obfuscate the facts.
  • Sneaky is the alternative medicine crowd that makes wild claims about miraculous cures which are not backed-up by research.
  • Sneaky is the “free book offer” you sent off for which turns out to be a front to get you to join a religious group you’re not interested in.
  • Sneaky is the job applicant who lies on his resume or includes fake degrees.
  • Sneaky is the fast food company that tries to pretend like hamburgers and milkshakes are healthy.
  • Sneaky is someone who won’t just admit he’s trying to sell you something. (Nothing wrong with selling, but being sneaky about it doesn’t work anymore.)
  • Sneaky is the company that automatically continues billing your credit card monthly, as the default, for what you thought was a one-time order.
  • Sneaky is the hotel that charges you a hidden fee for “work-out room and swimming pool privileges” even though you didn’t use these services, and signed the agreement at eleven p.m. after an all-day drive to your destination.
  • Sneaky is the credit card company that gives your kids in college high-interest rate cards with big lines of credit, knowing they will abuse the cards and that you will eventually have to help them with the debt.
  • Sneaky is lying about your age or appearance on an online profile.
  • Sneaky is politicians who spend billions of dollars on unnecessary wars and then tell people they’re for decreased taxes.

In a word where everyone has Google, it’s harder and harder to lie about the facts. Better to just lay your cards on the table and tell people the truth. Then, they can decide if they like what you’re doing and want to get involved with your product, idea, and service — or not.

In the old days, it wasn’t very difficult to trick people, sell a fake image, or be dishonest. But in the information age, sneaky doesn’t work.

A Self-Help/Motivational Writer Speaks Out.

As I sit down to write this article, I’m reminded of something that I put into a previous article, titled “Who Is Your Best Promoter.” We all sell ourselves and our opinions on a daily basis. We do it to get ahead, to get money or to get recognition. We live in a competitive world with a market driven economy. If you don’t advertise or at least identify your wants and needs, you get left by the wayside. The “squeaky wheel” gets the attention. The one that does the better job of selling what they are offering is the one that gets listened to. It really doesn’t matter if what they are offering is less valuable than that of their competition, they still get what they want. In this day and age, marketing is king.

I’ll give you a good example. Over the past several months, a vocal minority has been demanding the medicinal use of marihuana to relieve the pain of chronically ill patients. To back their demands, they presented medical evidence that in some cases the use of this drug relieves the pain or lessens the side affects of conventional drug treatment for the disease the patient has. The FDA said an emphatic no to making this treatment available. Within days of this decision, the FDA approved a drug company request to make their drug, which contains a synthetic version of the active ingredient in marihuana, legal. How a synthetic version of something can be better than the natural version is a mystery. The reason for approval is not. The drug company did a better job of marketing their product to the FDA than the “natural” advocates.

In traditional retail, the phrase “The Customer Is Always Right” is the motto. In the Self-Help/Motivational field, “The Customer Knows What Problems Need Solutions” is more appropriate.

Why do I say that? Because the customer (reader) is the one with the problem and she is looking for a solution to that problem. Who better to tell you what their problem is than the person with the problem. Unfortunately, most writers don’t meet face to face with their readers on a regular basis, so they have to rely on other methods to learn what their readers need. A lot of writers, me included, write about things that they learned while trying to solve problems that they have had at one point or another in their lives. This works very well, but I would like to try something different. As well as writing about solutions to problems that I feel are important to a lot of people, I’d like to write about problems that my readers need answers to, problems that have not, to date, bothered me.

How can this be done? There are two very easy ways for people to contact me, or any other self-help/motivational writer. One is to send an e-mail to the writer and the other is to use the comments option, made available in most Article Directories and Blogs, for entries written by the writer they want to answer the question.

There are thousands of entries in Blogs and Article Directories and yet only a very small number of readers put any comments down about the entry. Readers, this is YOUR chance to be heard! Unlike chat rooms where you have no idea about the qualification of the person supplying answers or comments on the topic, both Blogs and Articles have biographic notes on the writer.

Get answers from experts not vocal amateurs. Chat rooms are interesting and amusing, but the advice, in a lot of cases, is about as reliable as the advice provided in the tabloids sold on the checkout stand at the supermarket. I wouldn’t expect to find the solution to one of my life’s problems in the pages of the National Enquirer, and I’m sure that you wouldn’t either.

Contact a self-help/motivational author. Make sure that you read her, or his, articles, Blogs and newsletters to ensure that the expertise and style of the expert are right for you.

In this Twenty-first Century Information Age, you should not be left without answers. And you certainly should not be left being less than you have the potential to be. Be vocal, demand the answers you need!

I wish you good luck in your search for answers to the problems that are holding you back from being the best possible YOU that you can be.

Confusion and Definitions

In past articles I’ve discussed the importance of “defining your terms” when in the persuasion - or even just the communication - process.

Why? Because of the fact that different people have different definitions for words based on their own paradigms/belief systems/world-views.

Hence, a word that means one thing to one person might mean something different to another person. So, what often happens is that people disagree about a “thing.” Or, they *think* they disagree when the problem is that, while they are using the same word, each has a different definition of that word.

It sometimes comes out even in commentary.

For example, you might recall a well-known controversy from several years ago. Soon after the former professional wrestler, Jesse Ventura won the governorship of Minnesota, a magazine article quoted him as saying that “organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers.”

Now, whether you or I agree or disagree with him isn’t the point, as it relates to today’s topic. So, let’s discuss the actual point.

Gary Bauer of the Family Research Council, appearing on a television show where the interview was being discussed, mis-quoted Ventura saying, “the governor said that ‘faith’ is a sham and a crutch for . . . ”

Ventura did not say, “faith.” He said, “religion.”

But, Bob, isn’t that the same thing?

Not necessarily so, by any means. One can have “faith” in a Supreme Creator but not be a member of any particular organized ‘religion.’ I know people who belong to no organized religious tradition yet their faith is as strong as anyone’s I know. Faith and religion - depending upon the person, can mean two very different things.

However, to Mr. Bauer, whose faith is totally integrated with his religion, the two words have the exact same meaning. (This is why I have always maintained that his mis-quote of Ventura was totally unintentional.)

You can just imagine the argument the two might have:

Mr. Ventura: I have faith. (I don’t know if he does or not; this is simply an example).

Mr. Bauer: No, you said faith is a crutch and . . .

Mr. Ventura: No I didn’t.

Mr. Bauer: Yes, you did. You said it right in the article.

Mr. Ventura. I never said. . .

You see what can happen?

Recently, I saw an article entitled, “Happy Workaholics.” I didn’t read the article, but I suggest the title can not be true. There can be no such thing as a “happy workaholic.”

“But, wait, Bob” one might say. “I know people who work 80 or 90 hours a week and love what they do. They are workaholics but they love it.”

I’m going to suggest that they are not workaholics. They simply love what they do, have big goals and are willing to do what it takes to reach them.

But, a work “aholic” is different from the person being described above. When the form, “aholic” is placed at the end of a word, it typically refers to “a person who has an attachment, addiction to or obsession with some object or activity” (based on ).

Whenever one has an attachment, addiction to, or obsession with anything, it is, by its very nature, unhealthy. Whether it’s alcohol, drugs, work, chocolate, health, shopping, gambling or anything else, this attachment causes anxiety, fear, anger and other negative emotions. This is obvious when the person is not allowed to manifest their addiction. But, even when they are able to do so, the relief is temporary, if at all. As soon as the rush or thrill is gone, the same anxiety, fear, etc. comes back until the next “dose.”

Thus, by the very “nature of the thing”, the person who is attached or addicted to, or obsessed with, work cannot be happy.

So, while the article may have been a good one (again, I didn’t read it) it was based on a false premise.

Of course, words and their meanings live, change and are invented. Often, when someone uses the term “aholic” they simply mean “likes something a lot.” This is similar to when someone uses the term “Gossip” to mean harmless chatter. Gossip is not harmless chatter. But, again, a word only has meaning as understood by the individuals involved in the discussion.”

Again: “A word only has meaning as understood by the individuals involved in the discussion.”

The Key Point: It is this very fact that makes it even more important that, when in the communication or persuasion process, you make sure - before taking issue over a word or term - that you both understand what is meant by the term. And, as you know, you can’t depend upon the other person to do this; you must take responsibility for staying consciously aware and alert to any possible misunderstanding, and politely and tactfully making sure it is clarified.

Be Like One God (B.L.O.G.)

The term “Blog” is quickly becoming a household term it seems. All over the globe there are normal, everyday people who regularly log onto their computers and enter their thoughts, doubts, and dreams onto their own personal webpage. The best part about this is that the writings are not censored, edited, or subjected to the scrutiny of others before they are placed on the World Wide Web. These shared insights are almost in their purest form, written directly from the mind to the screen.

The self-proclaimed “Blogosphere” is the collective community of Bloggers who freely share ideas to anyone who is willing to listen. This community has one rule and one rule alone it seems…everyone has the right to their opinion. This respect for others is wonderful and quite beneficial to all of us because it allows readers to view the perceptions of others with an open mind. Open-mindedness is the only requirement for true growth…so as a species, the blogosphere seems to be the ultimate answer to the stifling control and fear tactics of the outer world (society). If the “system” promotes servitude, the Blogosphere seems to promote personal freedom.

If you have never stumbled across my writings before I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am God. I am not a reflection of God, I am not a part of the mass consciousness, and I am certainly not the creation of God. I am God…with absolute freedom to choose what I believe, what I perceive, and what I create. I do not exist in Time, I exist in the Moment. I do not exist in the World, I exist in my reality (you might call it my mind…but that is just semantics). Because I am God I also have the ability to live many different realities at the same time…you could say an infinite amount of realities. I can believe I’m Human, A Catholic, A Good or Bad person, or even that I am a Canadian…all of these are just labels though so in choosing these beliefs I am really just choosing to limit myself. Why do I limit myself? To experience what it’s like to not be God. Of course, I’m always God, but I always have the ability to convince myself I’m not. If you’d like proof, look at your average “human being” who holds onto the belief that they are something…this belief is the same limitation. They are Me, and therefore only limited by their own choice.

Whether you are religious or not I’m sure that the above comment has either infuriated you or confused you. Good, that was my intention. In my experience it is not until you are faced with something absolutely unknown that you have the opportunity to choose…you can react, or you can accept a possibility. For now, let us just say that it is entirely possible that I’m God. Really, how would you know?

For you the only thing that has ever been real are the things you see and experience. You know the world is around you because you can see it, but if you weren’t here you have no idea if it would be. Yes, I know you assume it would be…but let go of that assumption for just a moment and let us explore another perception. What if reality exists completely and utterly for you? This might be a little hard to accept at first but, as God, you are creating everything you see, everything you experience, and everything you need to learn.

Most people would run from this possibility because it implies that you are responsible for both the good and bad things in your life. The only consolation I can offer here is that you have always made it through every ordeal and always will. Why? Because as far as you can tell you have always been here….the world started for you when you were born, and it will continue until you die. You are the creator and the created, all in one.

What does this have to do with Blogging? Everything. From the perspective of God, Blogging is the absolute closest that technology has come to “a collective consciousness”. This term is simple, it simply means that everyone shares the same consciousness. Thoughts, doubts, fears, etc…all of it is shared by everyone. The belief that we are all separate, of course, contradicts this idea…but aside from being afraid others know our dirty little secrets, what is so frightening about at least admitting the possibility is there? A quick example is our interaction with others…we feel “vibes”, we have insightful glimpses into other people perceptions, and we even believe in telepathy. All of this is happening all of the time, you are completely aware of everything…your only limitation is the labels you impose upon yourself.

You see, my anonymity here is quite a blessing. As far as you know, I have no body, no name, and no voice…you cannot prove that I exist other than knowing these words are in front of you. But who wrote them? If you are creating everything all the time, then these words are coming straight from you. I could claim to be another “person” with another life, but that really makes no difference because you are still aware of only yourself and the things you see. So, since you wrote this for yourself to read at this very moment, where does that leave you? With a choice…you can learn from yourself, or continue to hold onto the beliefs that make you feel secure. Are you willing to admit you’re God?

You do not have to answer this right now, or ever if that is your choice. My mission has not been to convert you, it has been to make you aware that everything you read, everything you hear, and everything you say are completely and utterly created by yourself…these are the lessons of living. This is where your purpose in life will be ultimately shown to you. And what is that purpose? Responsibility and experience.

So, once again, how can this new technology of Blogging be beneficial? It allows us to ignore the judgement of others long enough to write our thoughts. It allows us to talk to ourselves…after all, you’re the first one to read it, aren’t you? This communication with yourself is probably the most beneficial experience we could have on the Internet. I say this because it is very close to meditation…you are communicating with God (You).

The wonderful spin-off of this practice is that there are many other “You’s” who get to read this. These secret little messages from yourself are already in your reality…every book and song. The difference is that now you get to create them yourself…personally. My favourite example of this “secret self-communication” is the classic “Footsteps” poem. It is signed “anonymous”…if our names always change from life to life, this is the only true signature possible. After all, we are not our names, we are the thing that chooses to believe we are our names.

So, speaking to myself, what am I trying to say? I’m trying to encourage you to Be Like One God. I want you to BLOG. Why? Because I, in every form including yours, enjoy reading my own writing. I enjoy language and the written word as much as I enjoy my own thoughts, insights, and imagination. You’re enjoying this right now, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading it. There is also another benefit to Blogging….you can abandon the system, you can be free…as you are meant to be and want to be.

How is this possible in a world where money seems to be the means of survival? What about food and clothes and all our luxuries? Please remember that these are creation of your mind…the money will come if you can just let go of the belief it is outside of you. After all, as God you have the power to reward yourself or punish yourself…what are you doing right now? Are you helping yourself in other forms?

You might be asking “how can I help if I have no money?” Simple…do what you’re doing right now, but cherish the point of it. When you visit a Blog and truly appreciate the message you have shared with yourself, do yourself a favour and “click” on anything that would benefit the author. It doesn’t cost a cent, it takes little to no time, and best of all you are being your own instrument of reward. You, and only you, can take care of yourself…but you must take the first step. You, in order to reward yourself in this life, must reward yourself in others. This is the benefit of being God….you can bless the world if you choose, but you must believe you can do it first.

Do this, start a blog, sign up for something like Adsense, and then start talking to yourself. The reward is not the money, it is the opportunity to be free…free to speak, express yourself, and live however you like. Eventually, if I do this in all my forms, we will return to Eden. In accepting responsibility for “yourself” we will find the Heaven that was here all along.

“Love others as you would Love yourself” - Christ (a beautiful example of your potential to be God on earth)

Thank you for Being,

A Forgetful God

(P.S. There are no links on this article that will make any money for me…my intention is not wealth, it is to remind myself that I’m free and I always will be. Thank you for listening)
